Terms and Conditions

General

 

Team/Program Goals

  • The cultural experience project is organized under the Laws of Israel with its head office at ceseria, nez 16.

  • The cultural experience wants to change the world for better by developing individuals, impacting people, and places that we come across around the world, and inspiring our community with our stories and actions.

  • Provide traveling Expeditions and short courses for better traveling knowledge, and experiences, based on three pillars: better traveling; cultural sensitivity, and world conscious life.

  • The cultural experience will support traveling communities and social enterprises by Increase awareness and donating $1.5 from each application fee and by collaborating together with them before and during the Programs.

  • In a world increasingly commanded by algorithms and artificial intelligence, human connections are losing authenticity. Our goal is to enhance and protect human authenticity, inspiring people to travel fully and to deepen their journey and their life.

 

General Conditions

  • The cultural experience holds all rights related to the Programs, namely the intellectual property rights related to the Programs and its content.

  • The cultural experience is responsible solely for the content and information distributed by its official channels and takes no responsibility for user-submitted content (Even if asks for them or gives them a stage).

  • The cultural experience has the right to adapt and modify the Programs or any event at any time.

  • Candidates have no right to indemnification, in case some event does not take place by any external reasons or for reasons other than force majeure or if the event results in any kind of delay and/or changes to any of the Programs.

  • The cultural experience is not able to offer refunds for application fees or any other costs related to the Program as the application fee is earmarked for the cultural experience Registration and administration costs as well as our community programs and everything which is included in them.

  • The cultural experience has the right to update this document, the website, social accounts, and add or subtract any information if necessary at any time.

 

Eligibility to enter the Community and apply to the program

  • Anyone can register to the cultural experience Community and program and be a candidate. Applicants will be selected by representatives of the cultural experience to whom they have the right to decide if they can participate in the program if at all.

 

The program

 

Timeline

  • Applications: The recruitment and selection stage will continue for about a year (in the early stages of the program).

  • Selection Process: It Will be held twice a year and in preparation for delegation selection.

  • The three selected candidates will be announced about two months before the delegation leaves.

  • The cultural experience reserves the right to change schedules at any time and for any reason.

 

Eligibility

  • Anyone can register to our program and get the Updates and invitations to potential events, but to be eligible for the expedition program, candidates must be between 18 and 50 years old.

  • An intermediate level of English is mandatory so the candidate can interact and communicate with the group and other people when traveling around the world! Anyone can apply to the Program without completely having mastered spoken and written English as long as each one can understand and communicate.

  • The cultural experience is not responsible for any application from someone who does not meet the requirements. All requirements are clearly explained in these Terms & Conditions.

  • If someone doesn’t meet the requirements still apply, he/she is not entitled to ask for a refund for their application fee.

 

Conditions

  • The cultural experience Program selection, we will only consider candidates that meet the requirements and are able to participate during the future announced dates of the Program.

  • The selected candidates must be willing to travel as a group with the rest of the selected people plus someone from the cultural experience’s team when necessary.

  • The selected candidates must agree to grant all rights to their image and likeness to the cultural experience for the duration of the Program.

  • The selected candidates must agree to upload marketing, promotional content, and share their experience on social networks and serve as an example for future delegations.

  • Applicants may fill out and apply for another person, provided they can guarantee that this other person fulfills all applicable requirements of the application. Every submitted application is personal and non-transferable.

 

Application Process

  • To be considered a candidate for the cultural experience Program, every applicant needs to:

    • Access our website ( www.the-cultural-experience.com).

    • Submit all the personal details that are necessary to apply for the Program.

    • Accept The cultural experience Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. (by sanding an application form).

    • Make the payment of the application fee.

    • Fill out any forms and tests that may be required by the cultural experience team and are defined as part of the Selection Process.

  • Following the above steps will allow the candidate to access the cultural experience Community, where he/she will get access to private content including training in the form of videos, webinars, PDFs, and other documents, rewards, and perks If it is decided to distribute it, and will also be eligible to participate in the Selection Process.

  • The cultural experience has the right to change the application fee during specific times for promotional purposes. Each applicant pays the value announced in the moment of its registration and will not be affected by later changes.

  • All the information provided will be stored and analyzed for the purpose of the selection process according to our terms &conditions.

  • Only those who meet all these requirements are considered to be part of the Program, but those not eligible may still apply to be part of our community, with all the Potentials privileges, discounts, and content.

  • The cultural experience reserves the right to partner with companies and communities to be able to offer exclusive content and potential rewards to every candidate. The cultural experience is not responsible for any product/service, image, content, or any other matter produced or disseminated by its partners.

  • From the application fee, the cultural experience will guarantee a minimum donation of $1.5 to one or more of the cultural or traveling impact organizations selected by The cultural experience. The cultural experience holds the right to decide which social impact organizations should the money go. The cultural experience will cover the handling costs of contributing the money. If the application fee changes due to specific campaigns, the donation may change accordingly.

 

Selection Process

  • The selection process was designed and developed to ensure the best conditions for the delegation and its potential members.

  • After completing the initial forms and paying the application fee, applicants will be asked to provide additional data about themselves (called phases) to ensure their suitability for the program.

  • All phases will have a maximum period to be completed. In each phase, the candidate will be informed by e-mail of the time available to complete the test. Once completed, the phases cannot be repeated (Except for special cases (. If the participant does not complete a specific phase the participant will not be eligible to participate in the program.

  • Applicants will be asked to go through three basic phases:

  • Phase 1: After completing the initial forms and paying the application fee candidate will be asked to fill out the first personality test.

    • We look for example for individuals with qualities considered to be essential to maintain group cohesion. These qualities include but are not limited to: open-mindedness; group-orientedness; social awareness; friendliness and features of this kind.

    • None of these criteria require the cultural experience team. The above reserves the right to decide on the admissions of candidates at their own discretion. 

  • Phase 2: Based on the results from the 1st phase, the most suitable candidates will be asked to answer and to upload their CV and Portfolio. 

  •  Phase 3: Based on the results from the more detailed Persona Questionnaires, we will set up video interviews with the most suitable candidates to learn more about who they are.

  • After these phases, we will select the candidates who will participate in the cultural experience Program and possibly cooperate with The cultural experience in other ways in the future after the Program.

  • Throughout the selection process, all information provided by the applicant must be true. If any dishonesty is discovered on the part of the applicant, the applicant may be excluded from the selection process and from the Program with no right to compensation.

  • The final candidates selected will be announced privately (via email) and then publicly via social networks up to two months before the stars of the program.

  • After the candidate selection process, candidates will be invited to three training sessions before the delegation leaves. Participation is required to qualify.

 

training sessions

  • The training includes three sessions in Israel on topics that aim to guide and teach how to truly travel - to meet local culture in a meaningful, close, respectful, and full of curiosity. (How to really travel, security and safety, cultural vision).

  • The cultural experience may download or add sessions as it sees fit. 

  • Participation in the training sessions is a condition of participation in the program.

 

Finance Conditions

  • For the selected candidates, all expenses related to the Program (flights, basic transportation, accommodation, meals, and activities that are part of the Program) will be covered by the cultural experience

  • The participants will have a budget of up to $200 that they can use for expenses related to the spirit of the Program. This amount will only be available to spend during the Program and related to its logistics. These expenses will be analyzed by the team from the cultural experience to see if they fit in the Program’s spirit. 

  • The goal of having this $200 budget is to make sure that the participants can enjoy the Program to the fullest without having financial barriers.

  • This money will be used from the program’s purposes. Participants won’t be able to take it home with them, for example.

  • Any other private/extra expenses that are not related to the Program will not be covered by the cultural experience.

 

Payment and candidacy

  • The payment of the application fee is made on the cultural experience site. 

  • The payment of the application fee is a condition of the screening process from the beginning. The payment confirmation will be sent at the email address provided by the candidate when registering. 

  • The registration process of the registered candidate will not begin until the application fee has not been paid. 

  • The nomination fee is currently 35 NIS.

  • The cultural experience reserves the right to decide when and if to reimburse the candidate.

  • As mentioned, 1.5$ from any application fee will be donated subject to these bylaws. 

  •  The program will not begin without the registration of at least 580 candidates who paid the registration fee. 

  • Even if the program is canceled for any reason, the nomination fee will not be refunded, but the candidate will be eligible to be part of the cultural experience community for its various offers and awards. 

  • The cultural experience may cancel anyone's candidacy if it seems necessary without repaying the registration fee. Conduct and engagements in the target country. 

  • Starting the plan and any flight involved will depart from Israel. (This includes the training processes).

 

Countries Visited

  • The program will take place every time in one country chosen by the cultural experience team.

  • The overall schedule will be dictated and decided by the cultural experience team.

  • The cultural experience reserves the right to change any Travel information, schedules, and designated countries at any time.

  • The cultural experience has no legal or financial responsibility for issues arising from a candidate not being allowed to enter any designated country.

  • The cultural experience does not take responsibility for safety incidents, physical injury, destruction, or theft of personal equipment of any kind, interactions, or problematic events occurring in the target country. The cultural experience is a program that creates the meeting between travelers and culture, all that takes place within this meeting is solely the responsibility of the traveler.   • The cultural experience does not responsible for any illegal or criminal activity or conduct that may involve a fine or punishment under local law (in a destination country).

  • The candidates are responsible for always having their passport and valid identification with them during the Program.

 

Services and destination country

  • The cultural experience is not responsible for the attitude of service providers in the target country or the nature of the service provided. It is her duty to provide the basic travel conditions and aims to teach and bring in travelers with local living conditions as much as possible. 

  • The purpose of the program is to bring together people and local culture. The cultural experience believes that to do so, one cannot live life outside the sight and feel of local life. That is why all the services and co-ordinations that the program provides are basic and ones that convey the experience closest to the local culture (accommodation, transport, flights, recommendations). Along with this, the program advocates enabling participants with maximum welfare and comfort along with frequent meetings with other travelers.

  • The cultural experience team will provide a List of free activity suggestions in the destination country. These activities will be related to the three pillars mentioned before. From this list, all activities will be mandatory.

  • Those who participate in the program will receive guidance and contact with the services provided to them by the cultural experience providers upon departure to the destination country.

 

The cultural experience 's Responsibility

  • The cultural experience has no legal responsibility for any behavior, crime, action, or omission by the selected candidates.

  • The cultural experience has the right to terminate the candidate’s relation with the Program if he/she is involved in any kind of crime or bad behavior, such as not respecting local laws or culturally acceptable standards of behavior.

 

Visas, Passports, and ID Cards

  • The selected candidates are responsible for meeting all the necessary requirements to obtain the visa for each of the countries mentioned above and for the payment of the associated costs.

  • The candidates are responsible for always having their passport and valid identification with them during the Program.

  • And guard them. As mentioned, the cultural experience will not be responsible for any loss, destruction, or theft of equipment for any reason, including personal documents.

 

Vaccinations

  • All the selected candidates are responsible for attending a traveler’s medical appointment before the Program to guarantee that all vaccinations and prevention procedures are complete.

  • The cultural experience is not responsible for any injury or physical illness.

 

Insurance

  • All the selected candidates are responsible for Insuring themselves with health insurance, travel insurance and extreme activity insurance that covers any medical, physical or equipment issues that may arise during the trip.

 

Applicable Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are subject to the regulation of Israeli law with exclusion of its choice of law provisions.

  • Any dispute with these Terms and Conditions shall be decided by the Civil Court of Israel.

  • When submitting the information on the site, the candidates (potential and elected) waive their right to make a legal claim or any special application with legal implications (and in any form), for any of the sections specified in these Terms and Conditions. They also waive their right to sue for any claim or request regarding things not discussed between the candidate and the cultural experience team (and which are not written in writing and recognized by the cultural experience).

Data Protection

  • By submitting to the Program, applicants consent to the cultural experience collecting, using, disclosing, and storing the personal information an applicant provides.

  • The cultural experience does not take medical or insurance responsibility of any kind. 

  • Applicants (at any point) must insure themselves with a well-organized insurance company that the cultural experience recognizes, and this is a condition for participation in the program. 

  • In the definition of 'rewards', we refer to the general benefits and exposure to the content provided as part of the cultural experience community, for example, reminders of the content, exposure to the content and any benefit that the cultural experience may deem appropriate (and relevant) in the future. 

  • Failure to meet these requirements does not qualify for reimbursement of applicants' fees or additional payments. 

  • Participation in the program is subject to participation in the training sessions. 

  • In order for the cultural experience team to authorize a candidate to participate in the program, the candidate will be required to provide the certificates (medical, insurance, immunization) and the documents subject to these terms and conditions as a copy to be kept in the cultural experience repositories until their end-use. 

  • The cultural experience is entitled to change its terms and conditions at any stage and for any reason. Changes will not constitute a reason for refunding the application fee. 

  • Candidates who are unable to meet these terms and conditions (including cases where the application fee has already been paid) will not be able to take part in the program but can be part of the community. 

  • Writers, consultants, and other external suppliers of any kind are subject to these terms and conditions in all relevant context. Any content transfer between the cultural experience and third-party vendors will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  • Writers, consultants, and other external suppliers of any kind are subject to these terms and conditions in all relevant context. Any content transfer between the cultural experience and third-party vendors will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  • Those who will not be accepted into the delegation (and will be able to apply for the next delegation), and will be invited to take part in two traveling workshops that will be held before each delegation for free. All members of the community will be invited to the workshops for a nominal fee and those who registered for the delegation (and were not accepted for any reason) will be able to participate in them for free. Ambassadors program

 

  • The Ambassadors Program seeks to be a community anchor for travelers around the world. The cultural experience serves as a link between the traveler and the ambassador and here ends the project's responsibility for the connection between them. The project is not responsible for the nature of the relationship and what comes out of it, nor for the behavior or actions of any of the parties.
